As part of our position on the COI digital roster, we were asked to educate and prompt action in Tax Credit customers to reduce overpayments & control the cost of Tax Credit awards in the UK.
The Insight
Customers are uncertain about Tax Credits and need to be educated, supported and motivated to take responsibility for their finances.
The Solution
A digital strategy around advertising and a plain English information resource that makes Tax Credits easy to understand and encourages proactive renewal.
The Results
HMRC exceeded its Tax Credit renewal targets for the period leading to 31st July 2007. The campaign generated over 80,000 click throughs and 20,000 unique site visitors in under two months.
